Is Vermont Affordable? Focus on Property Taxes

Vermont property owners are receiving new assessments, new education tax rates, and new tax bills. This week’s five questions ask Vermonters whether the property-tax system is affordable, fair, and sustainable. Responses are anonymous. VT4VT will compare survey trends with published tax rates, grand lists, reassessments, and other public records.
